Brrrrrr.....Petitioning in Connellsville

We were in Connellsville petitioning to get on the ballot to be the next State Representative of the 52nd District.

We were up and down Vine and Sycamore Streets on the Southside.

We met a lot of great people that were very happy to sign our petitions. They couldn't wait for the General Election to finally get to vote for a real State Representative instead of the usual career politician.

I can't wait until summer time, so I can really get out to meet each and every one of our great citizens in the 52nd District.

Thanks for a great...and cold Day!

Until next time....Have a Great Day!

Pennsylvanian Winters

I love winters in PA. Weathermen predicting a "dusting", but you wake up to a couple of inches.

I feel sorry for the thousands of young adults and families that have to leave PA to find jobs. They don't get to experience the beautiful seasons anymore.

I would love to change that and make PA great again, so the families that have been fleeing PA for all these years can move back and get good jobs and raise their families here, in our PA.

With you help and your vote, we can make PA strong again and bring honor and integrity back to our State Representatives.

Sunday Petitioning

We will be out petitioning on Sunday afternoon after Church.

I hope to meet some of the great people in Perry, Scottdale, Mt. Pleasant, and Connellsville.

I will be around to each of the above areas meeting and getting to know as many of you as I can.

If one of my volunteers ask you to sign a petition and you have any questions for me, please ask them for my cell phone number and give me a call. I would be honored to talk to you or you can drop me an email at electearnesty@zoominternet.net.

And if I am elected, my cell phone number will always be available to the people of the 52nd District and the media 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

I will always be available to each and every one of you.

Again, I look forward to meeting you soon.

Until next time...Have a nice Day!

Petitioning in Westmoreland Today!!!!

Volunteers and I were petitioning Westmoreland county today.
My good friend Steven Lowe was knocking on doors in Scottdale and my girlfriend and I were meeting a lot of great people in Mt. Pleasant!

Scottdale and Mt. Pleasant are two of the most beautiful cities in Westmoreland County with a lot of history. Very beautiful Victorian Era houses in Scottdale. I really enjoy walking the treelined streets with the slate sidewalks and Mt. Pleasant has just as beautiful homes. Both are very laid back old fashioned kind of towns where every one knows each other and who are still ready to lend a helping hand.

Unless it comes to high school football. Vikings vs. the Scotties. Good old fashioned rock em sock em home town football! Everyone remembers high school football nights.

It's about time that Scottdale and Mt. Pleasant gets a State Representative with some roots to the Westmoreland towns.

As a graduate from Southmoreland and spending most of my youth in the Scottdale area, I would proudly represent Westmoreland County and Fayette County in Harrisburg while bringing honor and integrity back to the General Assembly.

On a side note: Good luck to Tim Carson, the former Scottdale mayor and Jerry Lucia, the Mt. Pleasant mayor in the Democratic primary.

I don't claim to be an expert political analyst, but with 5 or more Democrats in Fayette splitting the vote up, whichever man out of Tim and Jerry carry Westmoreland will win the Democratic Primary in May. It could possibly be Tim carrying Scottdale and Jerry taking Mt. Pleasant, but I think it will still be enough for either Tim or Jerry to win.

But most importantly...Good Luck to the voters! It's about time that the 52nd District finally gets a State Representative instead of just another politician looking for a giant pension.

Until next time....Have a nice Day!

Welcome to William R. Earnesty's Blog

Like they say, today is the first day of the rest of Pennsylvania's life.
If we don't fight for PA, no one else will.

We have got to stop companies from fleeing PA.
We have got to stop young families and recent college grads from fleeing PA.

How can we do it?

Elect me!

That may seem pompous, but really it isn't.

We need a person (like me) with morals, ethics, principles, and love for the Fay-West area as our State Representative.

We had politicians who helped themselves. Now we need a public servant to be a State REPRESENTATIVE to help us.

As an example of my principles and integrity, here is why I recently changed jobs:
I used to work for Crown Cork & Seal in South Connellsville. I earned about $15.50 per hour taping boxes closed. It was a union job. I felt unfulfilled, like I could do more in my life and help others and my country at the same time that I was making a living and raising my kids.

I left Crown and took a job with a local defense contractor, DRS Laurel Technologies. I took a $10,400 a year pay cut. That's a cut of $5.00 per hour, because I could help my country in the war effort by working for a defense contractor for less.

That is a perfect example of my principles, my honor and integrity that I learned from my parents and my time in the Air Force.

It's not all about money. That is why I don't want to be a career politician, but a representative.
That's why I advocate pay cuts to state reps, no free cars and gas, and no more free healthcare or giant pensions.

We need to come together and elect people who understand how to live within a budget and who will stand up to the powers in Harrisburg and say, "No!"

What do you think?
